For bird enthusiasts, Laguna Seca is one of the most rewarding places to explore within the Gallon Jug Estate.

This seasonal lagoon transforms throughout the year, creating an important habitat that attracts an incredible variety of resident and migratory bird species. The changing landscape provides exceptional opportunities for birdwatching, wildlife photography, and experiencing the remarkable biodiversity of the Maya Forest.

The experience begins with a guided drive through the reserve, where wildlife sightings are common and your guide will stop whenever nature presents an opportunity. Upon reaching Laguna Seca, you'll continue on foot, exploring the surrounding trails while your guide helps identify birds by sight and sound and shares fascinating insights into their behaviour and habitat.

For groups of four guests or fewer, a small boat may also be available, allowing you to quietly explore sections of the lagoon that are inaccessible by foot. Boat excursions are limited to four guests to ensure a comfortable and intimate experience.
