How do I get to Chan Chich Lodge?
Guests can arrive by scenic 2.5 hour ground transfer or a 30 minute domestic charter flight. Our team can help arrange transportation based on your travel plans, arrival airport, and group size.
Is Chan Chich Lodge all-inclusive?
Chan Chich Lodge offers all-inclusive packages such as the All-In Explorer Package that includes meals and select on-site activities. Please contact our reservations team for the most current package inclusions and customized itineraries.
Does Chan Chich Lodge have air conditioning? Yes. Select cabanas at Chan Chich Lodge include air conditioning, while all accommodations feature ceiling fans, screened windows, and natural ventilation designed to work with the rainforest environment.

Chan Chich Lodge is considered one of Belize’s premier birdwatching destinations, with hundreds of recorded species throughout the surrounding Maya Forest. Guests regularly see toucans, trogons, motmots, great curassows, hummingbirds, and many migratory species depending on the season.

Are tours private or shared? Most tours operate as shared small-group experiences aboard our safari vehicles. Private tours may be arranged in advance depending on availability and guest preferences.
Is Wi-Fi available at the lodge? Yes. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available in guest accommodations and common areas, though connection speeds may vary due to the lodge’s remote rainforest location.

Is the lodge family-friendly? Yes. Families with children who enjoy nature, wildlife, and outdoor adventure often have an unforgettable experience at Chan Chich Lodge. We recommend children be at least 10 years old to enjoy the lodge.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations more than 61 days before arrival: Full refund of prepayment, minus a $100 + tax processing fee.
Between 60 to 30 days before arrival: 50% of the prepayment will be refunded.
29 days or fewer before arrival: No refund of prepayment.
Please note, if changes are made to a reservation within 60 days of the arrival date, cancellation policies may apply. Unused prepaid services, like airport transfers or tours, are non-refundable.
If modification of dates and room types are requested we will do our best to accommodate them, but the rate may change based on new modifications required and may incur additional fees.
Non-Refundable Rates charges the full amount of the reservation at the time of booking. No changes are allowed.
Can dietary restrictions be accommodated? Yes. Our culinary team can accommodate many dietary preferences and restrictions with advance notice, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and allergy-sensitive meals.
Are there Maya ruins near Chan Chich Lodge? Yes, the lodge has its own on-site Archaeological Walk as well as guided tours to world-famous sites including the impressive ancient city of Caracol, one of the largest Maya sites in the country.
Is Chan Chich Lodge eco-friendly?
