Elejio has been part of the Chan Chich Lodge family for over four years, but his path in tourism began on the ground level—working front desk, managing reservations, assisting guests as a concierge, and supporting food and beverage service. These hands-on roles shaped his deep understanding of what travelers need to feel comfortable, cared for, and connected while exploring Belize.
Before arriving at Chan Chich, Elejio held assistant manager roles at other lodges. When he joined Chan Chich Lodge, he stepped in as Assistant Manager and oversaw reservations for nearly a year before taking on the role of Lodge Manager. Today, his calm leadership and attention to detail help ensure the lodge runs smoothly while maintaining the warmth and authenticity guests remember long after their stay.
